Dr. Justin Lewis

Dr Justin Lewis is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist and highly regarded and accredited Independent Medical Examiner, able to give an expert opinion on a broad range of psychiatric issues.

Dr Lewis has been practicing psychiatry since 2007. He specialises in general adult psychiatry, occupational psychiatry, with particular interests in occupational mental health, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Chronic Pain, and Mood Disorders. Throughout his career, Dr Lewis has provided consulting services at Delmont Private Hospital and now privately at Brighton Minds consulting suites. He has also lectured in Monash University’s Master of Psychological Medicine program and published research.

He regularly compiles medicolegal reports for organisations such as WorkSafe Victoria and the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), as well as for law firms and insurance companies. He is also a certified Wrongs Act Impairment Assessor, and a Joint Medical Examiner
